A KBW 2026 event case

Barotune provided live AI interpretation at BNB Chain’s BNB Seoul event on October 2, 2026. TokenPost reported on the preparation of event-specific project names and terminology for multilingual captions. This case introduces the service and the checks organizers can use when planning a similar event.

Agree on project names before translating them

Start with separate lists for speakers, official project names and abbreviations. Decide which brand names should retain their original spelling and which need a localized form. Use the presentation materials to check capitalization and spacing so the event team has a clear review standard.

Barotune can prepare draft glossary entries from presentation materials or direct input. Review the suggested entries, preserve agreed names and translations, and fill missing languages before registration. A glossary supplies reference terms; a rehearsal is still needed to check how actual speech appears as captions.

Read venue screens and phone captions separately

Check screen text from seats near the back of the room. On a phone, follow the attendee journey from opening the QR link to choosing a caption language. Include long translations in the rehearsal to see whether line breaks and the placement of video or logos remain readable.

Rehearse keynotes, panels and audience questions

  • Keynotes: check the speaker’s microphone and project names used in the slides.
  • Panels: alternate between the moderator and panel microphones to check speaker changes.
  • Questions: confirm that audience audio reaches the input and short exchanges appear in captions.
  • Numbers: include percentages, amounts and durations to check numbers together with their units.
  • Closing: allow the final utterance and its translation to finish before stopping the session.

Materials to share when discussing your event

Prepare the schedule, languages, speaker and project names, presentation files and intended screen arrangement. Flag live demonstrations and audience questions that may differ from prepared speeches. This helps the team plan a rehearsal that reflects the event you are actually running.
